This is more than just Talk Therapy.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCPT), I offer client-centered, intuitive counseling with a deep understanding of trauma and how to let it go. I utilize emotional regulation techniques like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) that allow clients to master their emotional issues by rewriting negative stories or memories. These techniques offer unique ways to help you gain a greater understanding of yourself, and to safely process emotions and resolve blocks so you can begin to make progress toward your goals.
Because each client is unique, my approach is unique to each client.
My practice is highly collaborative. I’m invested in getting to know you, your issues, and what matters most to you so that I can provide personalized guidance and support at a pace that feels comfortable. Together we will work toward building the specific skills, coping strategies, and self-confidence you need to heal – and to create lasting, life-changing results.

Frequently
Asked Questions
What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we will begin developing a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
How often should I attend therapy?
Most clients attend therapy on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on their goals, current challenges, and stage of treatment. We will discuss a schedule that best supports your needs and adjust as appropriate throughout the therapeutic process.
How long does therapy typically last?
The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients seek short-term support focused on a specific concern, while others engage in longer-term work to address deeper emotional patterns, relationship issues, trauma, or personal growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the duration of treatment will depend on your individual goals.
Do you offer in-person and virtual appointments?
Yes. Kim offers in-person therapy sessions in Battery Park City, Manhattan, as well as virtual therapy sessions for clients located anywhere in New York State.
What is your cancellation policy?
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee. Exceptions may be made in cases of illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
What are your fees?
Individual therapy sessions (60 minutes) are $400 per session.
Couples therapy sessions (90 minutes) are $500 per session.
As a specialized private-pay practice, services are provided on an out-of-network basis. Payment is due at the time of service.
What does it mean to be an out-of-network provider?
