Family Therapy

Family struggles affect everyone. I help improve communication, resolve conflicts, and rebuild trust—so your home becomes a place where everyone feels heard and valued.

Families often stop communicating because nothing seems to change.

When family members interact the same way again and again, their behaviors turn into patterns – often without anyone being aware of it. Over time, it gets harder for parents, children, and other loved ones to feel heard and respected. Eventually they give up trying, believing that things are never going to get better.

Counseling can help your family break the cycle.

Counseling helps families understand each other’s needs and fosters a healthy commitment to change. We identify the root causes of patterns, explore strengths and weaknesses, and discuss the positive choices each person can make to shift the family dynamic. Together we find ways for you to communicate more effectively, develop mutual understanding, and learn strategies for reducing and resolving difficult situations. The result? More trust, less tension, and a deeper sense of connection.

This is more than just Talk Therapy.

As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCPT), I offer client-centered, intuitive counselingwith a deep understanding of trauma and how to let it go. I utilize emotional regulation techniques like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) that allow clients to master their emotional issues by rewriting negative stories or memories. These techniques offer unique ways to help you gain a greaterunderstanding of yourself, and to safely process emotions and resolve blocks so you can begin to make progress toward your goals.

Because each client is unique, my approach is unique to each client.

My practice is highly collaborative. I’m invested in getting to know your family, your issues, and what matters most to you so that I can provide personalized guidance and support at a pace that feels comfortable. Together we will work toward building the specific skills, coping strategies, and self-confidence you and your loved ones need to heal – and to create lasting, life-changing results.

Wondering if family therapy is right for you and your loved ones? Schedule a confidential consultation.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, personal history, goals for treatment, and any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we will begin developing a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Most clients attend therapy on a weekly or biweekly basis, depending on their goals, current challenges, and stage of treatment. We will discuss a schedule that best supports your needs and adjust as appropriate throughout the therapeutic process.

The length of therapy varies from person to person. Some clients seek short-term support focused on a specific concern, while others engage in longer-term work to address deeper emotional patterns, relationship issues, trauma, or personal growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, and the duration of treatment will depend on your individual goals.
